Customer Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting services from Rapid Glass & Board Up (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided

We provide emergency board-up services, glass repair, replacement, and related services. Service availability is subject to scheduling, weather conditions, safety assessments, and material availability.

Emergency Response: We aim to respond as quickly as possible, but response times may vary based on location, time of day, traffic, and call volume.

Scope of Work: The services performed will be based on the immediate safety needs and/or scope discussed with you at the time of service authorization.

3. Estimates and Pricing

  • Estimates are provided verbally or in writing before work begins unless otherwise agreed in emergencies.
  • Pricing may vary based on the materials used, complexity of service, after-hours calls, and location.
  • Emergency, after-hours (6PM-7:30AM), and holiday rates may apply.
  • Full payment is due upon completion unless prior arrangements have been made.

4. Payment Terms

  • We accept cash, credit card, debit card, and approved insurance billing (where applicable).
  • You are responsible for full payment unless otherwise agreed through a written insurance assignment.
  • Late or non-payment may result in additional fees and/or collections action. Glass & materials may/will be removed if payment is made in full.

5. Insurance Claims

  • If you intend to submit an insurance claim, you remain responsible for payment regardless of the insurance carrier’s actions.
  • We can assist in providing documentation for your claim but are not responsible for insurance approvals or denials.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must provide access to the property for services to be performed.
  • You must disclose any hazardous conditions (e.g., broken glass, structural issues) known at the time of service request.
  • You agree not to hold us liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, property conditions).

7. Limited Warranty

  • We provide a limited warranty on installation and workmanship for [30/90] days unless otherwise specified in writing. All insulated windowpanes come with a 5-year warranty against fogging.
  • Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, weather events, vandalism, or structural movement.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services or delay of services.

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours prior to scheduled service when possible.
  • Emergency service requests that are canceled after dispatch may be subject to a minimum service call fee of $198.00.

10. Refunds

  • No refunds.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Georgia. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that state.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website.
